Shelved...

I was making good progress on he Legacy and Legends piece, but then I got pretty busy the last few weeks. I can't complain, a bunch of commission work came my way, but as a result, I had to push back work on this piece.

I made a bit more progress on it and here is the latest update:

A bit more done

This piece seems to be taking much longer than usual and my only excuse is too many other things going on that constantly distract me from it. I have made a bit of progress. Almost done Reggie and have started Bryan Dawkins.

Still plugging along

I am still really enthused about this Philly sports tribute piece, but the end of the summer got really hectic and I have not had enough free time to work on it extensively. I am hoping the fall will quiet down enough so that I will have more time to finish it up. I have finished Gagne and Shmidt and now I am well into Reggie. Next post, I will add an updated photo of the piece.

Delayed by the bathroom...

Well, I had to spend my vacation renovating a bathroom in my house, so I did not get as much done on the Legacy piece as I wanted to. But I am almost done Gags and I started Schmitty...

A little more

Started inking the piece this week and of course I started with Gagne. I really like this piece a lot and I am eager to begin inking Bryan Dawkins as his pose is menacing and will look really cool once it is shaded in ink. Stay tuned...

Slow and Steady

Finished the rough sketch of Gags and then most of Bernie. Just started B-Dawk. I like the way theis piece is falling together. At first, with so many great Philly sports figures, I was not sure if it would work, but I think it should look pretty dramatic once I begin stippling it.

Slow going...

Not much new to update - finished Gags and starting on Parent, but interruptions and Spring home chores have slowed my progress a bit.
